Swimmers from Swift Aquatics captured both 10 & under Breaststroke events yesterday at the Daniel Jaekel Friendship Classic Meet. This special award is sponsored by the Jaekel family in memory of their son, Daniel.

Our sharp-eyed Meet Referee spotted a couple of event set-up errors that resulted in some odd seeding. Events 23, 24, 41 and 45 have been re-seeded. There is a revised heat sheet for these events posted below.

We have a very competitive field and a reasonably relaxed timeline for our meet this weekend. Remember to check this website regularly for the most current information and updates for the meet. Here's the latest info:

The meet will be pre-seeded. Heat sheets will be posted online on Wednesday afternoon. Heat sheets will not be available at the meet . . . please remember to download and print a copy for yoruself is you would like one.

No new swimmers! Check the Live Results link to review your entry in psyche sheet format. Any additional entries (for swimmers already in the meet only) will be deck entries, $8/if lane space is available.

Information regarding timing assistance and warm-up will be posted by Tuesday afternoon.

Heat limitations may be imposed to manage the timeline. We will have a secondary check-in for the 800 free, 400 IM, 400 free and 12&under 200 IM if necessary.

Financial reconciliation will be available on Thursday following all last minute entry corrections.

Entries for the meet are closed and we have a great competitive field. Teams committed for 2013 are Barrington, Beloit, Blue Marlins, COHO, Lake Forest, McGaw YMCA, PX-3, Rockford Marlins, SWIFT, TOPS, Lake Geneva and Flying Fish.

We will take entry updates through noon on Monday, 6 May. Send entry updates to Coach Michael Lawrence today.

The 34th Annual Daniel Jaekel Classic, one of the longest continuously operating meets in in the Midwest, moves north to the Midwest's premiere competition facility. Our meet is open to all USA Swimming members and will use the Wisconsin Reservation System for meet entries.
