Practice Schedule and Calendar

To see detail (location, start/finish times, etc) for any practice squad click the squad name in the calendar below. You can also print the schedule using the "Print" icon.

The Individual Medley events are the tests of skill, fitness and strategy. IM swimming requires unique training and racing abilities. Often the best swimmer in an individual discipline finds IM swimming very challenging. The best IM swimmers in the world have a special ability to train all four strokes AND put them together on race day better than their competitors. Be sure to check out tips for each stroke and make your next IM race your best.

IM Switches -- Back To Breast

This is not a beginner skill! There is a VERY high risk of being disqalified in competition. OK to try in practice (especially on your own before or after practice), but check with your coach before attempting in a meet.

Back To Breast Crossover Turn

Olympian Eric Shanteau demonstrates his world-class backstroke/breaststroke crossover turn. This is a very difficult skill with very high risk of being DQ'ed, especially during the learning phase. We do not teach this skill to swimmers below the Bronze Squad level as the risk/reward factor is negligible for age group swimmers. If you try this skill be sure to talk to your squad coach for additional advice.
